As a photographer for women over 40 in Christiansburg, VA, I’ve spent the past 15 years helping women see themselves in photos the way they truly want to be seen: confident, beautiful, and authentic.

As an INFP and Enneagram 9, I bring a blend of empathy, calm energy, and gentle guidance to every session. My clients often tell me they feel instantly at ease, like they can finally exhale. What to Wear Guide

Once you book in, you'll receive my what to wear video that will walk you through exactly what to bring, what to avoid, and how to choose pieces that flatter. I always encourage clients to overbring so we have plenty of options to work with. 

Pre-Shoot Planning Call

About a month before your session, we'll walkthrough the entire experience so you know exactly what to expect, what to bring, and how the day will unfold. Clients often tell me they feel so much more relaxed after this call.

Personal Styling & Fit Session

When you arrive at my studio, we begin by curating your looks.  Together, we’ll choose your outfits from the clothing you bring.  I’ll even have you try on certain pieces so we can see how they fit and photograph, ensuring every look is flattering and camera-ready.

Professional Hair & Makeup

Next, you’ll relax into a pampering beauty experience. Our professional artist will enhance your natural features and create a polished, camera-ready look. We make sure your hair and makeup are done to your liking so you feel confident, radiant, and fully yourself before stepping in front of the camera.

Sneak Peeks & Test Shots

After your hair and makeup is complete, we’ll take a test shot in your first outfit to see how everything looks on camera. This allows us to make any adjustments. Throughout the shoot, you’ll get to see sneak peeks and see your images in real time. This builds confidence and ensures you love every look.

Posing Done for You

You’ll never have to wonder what to do in front of the camera. Every pose will be demonstrated so you can see exactly how to move, shift, and pose with ease. You’ll be guided into flattering, natural positions and coached into authentic expressions that reflect your personality and confidence.

Multiple Outfits & Looks

You’ll enjoy multiple outfit changes.  From casual to professional, elegant to subtly sexy, we’ll create a beautiful variety of looks together, capturing different sides of your personality and giving you a stunning, diverse collection of portraits.

Same-Day Reveal

At the end of your session, you’ll enjoy a beautiful slideshow. You’ll get to celebrate your beauty and choose the pictures that you love the most. We’ll review your retouching preferences for your favorite images to ensure they look exactly how you want, and your final images will be ready about a week.

Collections start at $1650 and you'll have a $150 credit to apply. Payment plans are available and you don't decide on your collection until after your session. Some women pay in full while other split their collection into monthly payments. The only thing due upfront is the session fee. Now accepting Afterpay and PayPal.

We serve women of all ages, however The 40 Over 40 Movement is exclusively for women over 40 all the way up to 100.  If you are under 30 and would like a Glam or Branding Session, check out our other photoshoots on our home page.  

We've done Glam, Branding, & Headshots for women from Christiansburg, Blacksburg, Radford, Riner, Floyd, Salem, Roanoke, Wytheville, Bluefield, Botetourt, Smith Mountain Lake, Lynchburg, Richmond, and many other areas in Virginia.

Plus we have had women travel to us from many states such as Florida, Texas, Indiana, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
