LEFT: Phone was held below chin and shooting upwards. Don't do this. Creates the illusion of a double chin, shows shadows, fine lines, and imperfections. MIDDLE: Phone was held straight on to face. Looks ok, but there's a better option RIGHT: Phone was held just slightly higher than my eyeline. It opens the eyes more, defines the jawline, and lights the face better. I hope this is helpful! Go practice this! Take a shot below, straight on, and then above to compare. You will be amazed! P.S. - no filters or photoshop used. Keepin' it real ya'll. Shot in a bathroom. 😊 I'm a Glamour Portrait Photographer who specializes in helping everyday women look and feel beautiful in photographs. My studio is location in Downtown Christiansburg, Virginia and is beautiful with white brick walls and natural light with windows.
I invite you to check out my Before and After Gallery. I know how to pose women of all ages and sizes so that they look thinner, feel confident, and never have a double chin in photos. Comments are closed.
